village fantome.
Amities, Andre G. Bourassa.

Subject: Performing Arts Centre Web Site

Dear Candrama Colleagues:

This is just to let you know that the Performing Arts Centre of the Toronto
Reference Library (formerly the Metropolitan Toronto Reference Library)
now has its own web page.

The address is: http://www.mtrl.toronto.on.ca/centres/PerArts/index.htm

The site provides an overview of our collections and resources in
theatre, film and TV, dance and music, as well as audition materials
currently on reserve, new acquisitions, current displays and exhibitions,
and a select list of internet sites in the performing arts.

Candrama subscribers may be particularly interested in the list of our
archival collections, which is now readily available for the first time.

We plan to update the web page weekly for audition materials, and
monthly for everything else. Since the reference library is undergoing
amalgamation with the other 6 public library systems in metropolitan
Toronto to form the new Toronto Public Library system, the information
on the Performing Arts Centre web page will eventually be folded into
TPL's new web site.

Please check out our site if you get the chance, and if you have any
questions or suggestions you can e-mail me at:
lramsay@gwmail.mtrl.toronto.on.ca

Happy surfing.
