Colloque XVIIe Guy Spielmann




Chers membres de Queatre,

Je vous retransmet une annonce de colloque pour l'an prochain; il s'agit
de la Societe Interdisciplinaire d'Etude du XVIIe siecle Francais (SE17).
L'annonce est en anglais (je n'ai pas le temps de traduire) mais la
plupart du colloque se deroule en francais, et le theatre y tient souvent
une large place, l'epoque s'y prete.

The sixteenth annual conference of
SE17

The Society for Interdisciplinary Seventeenth-Century
French Studies

at and around Chapman University in Orange, California

OCTOBER 8-10, 1998

This year, our conference will follow a new format of thematic
sessions, which is meant to enhance further the interdisciplinary spirit
of SE17. You are now invited to send proposals for 20-minute presentations
by April 15, 1998  directly to the session chairs below. We particularly
encourage submissions from diverse fields of scholarship: history,
philosophy, visual arts, performance studies and drama, linguistics,
science, etc.
The languages of the conference will be French and English. Please
share this call for papers with as many colleagues and graduate students
in other departments as you think might be interested in the conference.
