International Studies at the

conference for

experience and receive feedback

> The conference will take place on Saturday 17 May
2003. As well as
> postgraduate papers, there will be two Plenary
Sessions: Professor Susan
> Hurley (University of Warwick) will read a paper
entitled 'Imitation,
Media
> Violence, and Freedom of Speech', and Professor
Thomas Christiano
> (University of Arizona) will lead the other session
on the theme of 'Equal
> Liberties of Conscience and Association'. Abstracts
of the postgraduate
> papers will be posted on the Department's website
in advance.

> Postgraduates interested in giving papers should
send abstracts (400-500
> words) by no later than Friday 4 April 2003. Papers
may deal with any area
> within contemporary political theory, political
philosophy, or the history
> of political thought, but should take no more than
