The GPB Advanced Seminars in Communication are distance training activities based on a cooperative model combining different pedagogical settings : videoconferences, a website, a list of discussion and face to face meetings.
The objective of this model, elaborated during the last three years, is to use communication technologies, in an era of increasing internationalization, to better the quality of the training offered to our students by allowing them to benefit, through cooperative work at the international level, from competences, expertise and other ressources available elsewhere.
Three seminars have already been offered in french to students in Montreal, Paris and Grenoble by professors Bernard Miège, from the Unversité Stendhal, Pierre Mœglin, from the Université Paris 13, and Gaëtan Tremblay, from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Another one has been offered to students in Montreal, Austin and Monterrey by professors John Downing, from the University of Texas at Austin, José Carlos Lozano, from the Instituto tecnológico of Monterrey and Gaëtan Tremblay, from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
