T. minutum is reared on eggs of Ephestia kuehniella Zeller (Lepidoptera : Pyralidae) in vial tubes in growth chambers at a temperature of 23ºC, a photoperiod of 16L: 8D and 60% of relative humidity.

T. brassicae is reared on eggs of Ephestia kuehniella Zeller (Lepidoptera : Pyralidae) in vial tubes in growth chambers at a temperature of 23ºC, a photoperiod of 16L: 8D and 60% of relative humidity.

The twelve spotted lady beetle is reared in muslin cages containing aphids, eggs of Sitotroga cerealella Olivier (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae), pollen and sugar water at a temperature of 22-25ºC, a photoperiod of 16L: 8D and 25% of relative humidity. Pieces of corrugated cardboard are used as substrate for egg-laying.
